Οι απόστρατοι είναι άνθρωποι ωφέλιμοι. Περικλείουν τη γνώση και την πείρα του παρελθόντος. Έχουν πολλά να πούνε και να δώσουνε. Εξάλλου τα γέρικα άλογα δεν τα σκοτώνουν ποτέ. Όταν τους ακούς όμως γεννιέται το ερώτημα πώς τόση σοφία και διάθεση για αλλαγή δεν την εξέφραζαν λίγο νωρίτερα ως ενεργοί πολίτες βοηθώντας την επόμενη γενιά. Τότε λοιπόν κοιτάζοντας προς τα πίσω βλέπεις τη γλυκιά καρέκλα. Μία καρέκλα που την τελευταία δεκαετία είχε και πολύ δανεικό χρήμα. Για αυτή την καρέκλα λοιπόν καταστράφηκαν ψυχές, υποθηκεύτηκε το μέλλον μας και χάθηκε τόση σοφία…
Retired people are beneficial. They encompass the knowledge and the experience of the past. They have much to say and give to the youngs. Besides all, we should never kill the old horses. Nevertheless when you listen to them the question that arises is how such wisdom and willingness to change things was not expressed a little earlier when they were active citizens with power, helping in this way the next generation. So as we looking back we see the sweet and comfortable chair. A chair which in the last decade was also full of borrowed money. For this chair souls were destroyed, our future as a nation mortgaged and we lost so much wisdom ...
