Hellas Gold is opening a new chapter in more sustainable mining by bringing electric mobility to heavy ore transport in Greece for the first time.
Two fully electric Mercedes-Benz heavy-duty trucks have joined the company’s fleet and are now operating along the Olympias–Stratoni route, turning an essential transport corridor into a quieter, cleaner and more modern part of day-to-day operations. With zero tailpipe emissions and near-silent operation, this investment helps mitigate our environmental footprint and minimize disruption for the local communities along the way.
