Secretary Michael R. Pompeo met today with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in Athens. Secretary Pompeo highlighted Greece’s position as a pillar of stability in the Eastern Mediterranean and positive role in promoting regional political and economic cooperation. The Secretary and the Prime Minister also discussed energy cooperation. Secretary Pompeo also noted that he was encouraged by Greece’s economic reform agenda.
