To shape a Union it takes decades. To disband it only 38 minutes. What was supposed to be built up upon common values and interests after millions of sacrifices collapsed today through the implementation of a populist and disputable referendum in UK back in 2016. No doubt, Russia and many networks are celebrating today the oncoming weakness of both EU and UK. In separate , they will have soon to address global challenges while being more susceptible to the appeals of authoritarian regimes.
The mainland of Europe has already redefined its possible future enemies including those who considered as allies for a century now. France and Germany re-balancing Europe with a south and eastwards trend and unknown results. A new EU Army is visioned to protect a no-visioned EU anymore. This bipolar Europe has been experienced in the past with catastrophic results for our continent either coming from inwards or externally. No-one can exclude a repetition of history as most of the victims of that times have left this futile World.
For UK the day after Brexit is obscure like war is. England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have to reconfirm their common values and interests in the 21th century for seeking the prosperity of their people. Indeed, UK will be vulnerable and isolated as it has chosen a lonely way in this transitional era for humanity. No one can predict the result and this choice. This the result of reckless political leadership when it proposes and decides towards dark purposely and without anyone imposing it, if this is true.
Vladimir Putin, Angela Merkel and Tayip Erntogan, surprisingly all undisputed leaders of their democratic nations since the beginning of this century made a triangle that resulted in the rupture of European Union and its power. In their last common policy through the wave of illegal immigrants infiltrating into EU from Greece they manage to divide and conquer EU. The dream of a prosper continent ended up in nation's poverty and over-debt which will soon be expressed in more EU instability.
