The lightest workload? France, where the average workweek is 37 hours and 36 minutes. President Emmanuel Macron is trying to reform the labor code. But one area that’s not up for discussion is his country’s 35-hour work week, which has been weakened enough over the years that it’s no longer seen as a priority.
