UniCredit SpA Chief Executive Officer Federico Ghizzoni faced a torrent of questions from analysts over the bank’s capital strength after lending growth led to an erosion of the buffer in the first quarter. “We are ahead of schedule versus what we announced in our multi-year plan about 6 months ago; we are creating capital organically much more than any other bank in the last 12 months, we’ll continue in this way,” he tells Bloomberg TV in Milan. Ghizzoni added UniCredit's results are “definitely better than many other banks.”
