The FTTH Council Europe is immensely honoured to announce that the FTTH Conference 2016, to be held in Luxembourg City on 16-18 February 2016, has received the high patronage of Xavier Bettel, Prime Minister and Minister for Communications and Media of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. More than 3,000 attendees – including decision makers from the European Commission, national governments and municipalities, as well as management-level attendees from telecom operators, financing institutions, service and application providers, analysts and industry experts, academia and media – are expected to gather at the FTTH Conference. The event includes workshops, conference sessions, leading edge exhibition and hands-on demos of FTTH-enabled services.
Commenting on his patronage of the FTTH Conference 2016, Xavier Bettel, Prime Minister and Minister for Communications and Media, said: “High-speed connectivity is the foundation of the digital society. Luxembourg is one of the best connected countries in the world. I look forward to welcoming the world’s most pre-eminent experts and decision makers in this field at the FTTH Conference 2016.”
