BBC News: Ukraine crisis: Yanukovych regrets bloodshed in Kiev

  

16 months after he was forced from office, the former President of Ukraine has been speaking to the BBC in his first interview with western media. Viktor Yanukovych, who now lives in exile in Russia, says he accepts some responsibility for the bloodshed that led to his overthrow. But he said he had never ordered the security forces to open fire. The BBC's Gabriel Gatehouse reports.
