SARANTIS GROUP COMPLETES THE PRODUCTION TRANSFER FROM ROMANIA TO GREECE-Ο ΟΜΙΛΟΣ ΣΑΡΑΝΤΗ ΟΛΟΚΛΗΡΩΝΕΙ ΤΗΝ ΜΕΤΑΦΟΡΑ ΠΑΡΑΓΩΓΗΣ ΑΠΟ ΤΗΝ ΡΟΥΜΑΝΙΑ ΣΤΗΝ ΕΛΛΑΔΑ

Following its announcement dated 15/10/2013 regarding the production transfer of face and body cream products ELMIPLANT, BIOTEN and KOLASTYNA from Romania to the Group’s production plant at Oinofoita, Greece, Sarantis Group announces that the production transfer was successfully completed within the first half of 2014.

The total investment, which was mainly utilized for the preparation of the plant and the accommodation of the equipment, amounted to 1 million euro. 

Through this move, production capacity becomes further consolidated, while economies of scale are achieved, since approximately 5 million units are added in the production.

The resulting project benefits the Group by greatly reducing costs, to the tune of 0.5 million euros on an annual basis, and improving efficiency on a Group level.

At the same time, driven by the Group’s need for strengthening further its Research & Development department in order to adapt to new product trends and developments and increase further product quality, SARANTIS ROMANIA will become the central base for the Research & Development of the Group. The new Group R&D function will design and invent new products that will cover the needs of the Group worldwide.

Σε συνέχεια της από 15/10/2013 ανακοίνωσης αναφορικά με την μεταφορά παραγωγής των κρεμικών προϊόντων προσωπικής περιποίησης και φροντίδας ELMIPLANT, BIOTEN και KOLASTYNA από την Ρουμανία στο εργοστάσιο των Οινοφύτων στην Ελλάδα, ο Όμιλος Σαράντη ανακοινώνει ότι η μεταφορά παραγωγής ολοκληρώθηκε επιτυχώς κατά το Α’ εξάμηνο του 2014.

Ο Όμιλος για την προετοιμασία του χώρου και την στέγαση των μηχανημάτων πραγματοποίησε επένδυση ύψους 1 εκ. ευρώ.

Μέσω της κίνησης αυτής επιτυγχάνεται συγκέντρωση της παραγωγικής δυναμικότητας και δημιουργία οικονομιών κλίμακας, αφού προστίθενται στη παραγωγή περίπου 5 εκ. τεμάχια, με ταυτόχρονη μείωση του κόστους και βελτίωση της αποδοτικότητας κατά 0,5 εκ € σε ετήσια βάση.

Ταυτόχρονα, η θυγατρική του Ομίλου SARANTIS ROMANIA θα αποτελέσει το κέντρο της Έρευνας & Ανάπτυξης των κρεμικών προϊόντων καλύπτοντας τις ανάγκες όλου του Ομίλου. Το νέο αυτό τμήμα, υιοθετώντας νέες τάσεις και εξελίξεις στην αγορά, θα είναι υπεύθυνο για την δημιουργία νέων και την ανανέωση υπαρχόντων προϊόντων για όλο τον Όμιλο.
