Harpoon Brewery Crafts A Seasonal Approach

 

When Harpoon Brewery released its Winter Warmer in 1988, there were few other seasonal beers on the market. The brewery used the seasonal strategy as a way to test new releases without risking too many resources at a time when the brewery was just getting off the ground. Now seasonal beers are staple of the beer business, driving much of the growth in the craft beer category.
