INITIATIVE FOR THE COOPERATION OF YOUNG GREEK PEOPLE TO CHANGE POLITICS
We
are an initiative of young people active in different areas (young
workers, young entrepreneurs, young people in local government,
students) who are trying to start an open and meaningful dialogue about
our generation and our country, based in the following pillars.
• To change a generation in terms of policy, evaluation and merit and radical renewal everywhere and in all Greece,
• Be a change in policy and direction of the country,
•
To promote collectiveness against rampant individualism prevailing
either in the current collective subjects (parties, unions, etc.) or in
the attitude of young people, who do not hesitate to do anything for the
own progress, ignoring all society,
•
To radically change the level of education that largely determines the
values and attitudes in order to cultivate to the citizens a sense of
social responsibility through participation and action,
•
To use the international experience of young people (education,
employment), and best practices from Europe and the rest of the world,
•
To stop the exodus of young people abroad (brain drain), and help them
to stay and fight in order to build a more creative and competitive
country.
We
strive to have an active role in the selection and configuration of the
production model, which has to be explicit. In this effort, we call all
the active citizens to cooperate and shape together a proposal for the
present and the future of the country.
Beause we are fed enough to get stigmatized and to apologize (worldwide) for errors and attitudes of others.
Because the people who created the problems in Greece can not be part of their solution.
Because the justifiable aversion of young people about politics must become the driving force to change the current situation
Because whoever does not build its future is doomed to suffer it!
Because we believe that when a society wants to solve its problems, it simply CAN!
Because we are not the lost generation!
