July 23 (Bloomberg) -- The Sea Orbiter, a
research project dreamed up by French scientists nearly twelve years
ago, is set to begin construction by the end of the year for a Summer
2013 launch. Once built, the ship will drift with the ocean's currents,
carrying 18 research scientists to explore the complexities of sea life.
